Daylily Bloomfest 2022 July 9th 9am-6pm & July 10th 9am-3pm

Robert Ellison was an award-winning daylily hybridizer and longtime friend of one of our employees, Michelle Rogers. Mr. Ellison taught Michelle the art of breeding beautiful and unique daylilies. Before Mr. Ellison left this Earth in August 2018, he asked Michelle to carry on his legacy of creating these amazing daylilies. We have collaborated with Michelle to create the Robert Ellison Memorial Garden at Hidden Timber Gardens.

On July 9th and 10th we will be hosting our 4th Annual Bloomfest to celebrate the work of Mr. Ellison and showcase all of the gorgeous daylilies in bloom! Visitors can tour the memorial garden and purchase hand dug daylilies right from the garden, or purchase potted daylilies. Many of the lilies are only available at Hidden Timber Gardens since they were Bob’s individual creations. There are a wide variety of lilies available for the collector to the hobby gardener.

The Master Gardeners will be available to answer questions and vendors will have local products for sale. Door prizes and raffle items will be given away all weekend. Other unique trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals will also be available. Come out and enjoy walking through the lovely display gardens and get ideas for your home landscape. 

Stay tuned for a list of the vendors that will be at the festival showcasing their handmade, homemade items all weekend. The garden center will be open from 9am-6pm on Saturday and 9am-5pm on Sunday, but the vendors will be there for the hourse listed above.
