Hidden Timber Gardens is a retail garden center located six miles east of Oregon, Illinois. Customers
are invited to walk through our display gardens showcasing many of our favorite plants. Our retail area holds
a large selection of quality perennials including natives, hostas and daylilies. We also carry a fabulous
inventory of shade and specimen trees, flowering shrubs, conifers and gorgeous roses.

Now You Can Take the Lurie Garden Home with You! Garden Artistry™ – a new and unique collection of perennial plants inspired by the Lurie Garden in Millennium Park – will be available
this spring.
Garden Artistry is sold as four separate plant combinations, in pint-size pots with design templates and instructions that make it easy to for any skill level of gardener to plant, grow and manage. Look for yearly additions of perennial plant combinations as the collection expands annually.
Combinations releasing in 2013 include: • Onions n’ Mint ~ contains six pints of Allium ‘Summer Beauty’ paired with four pints
of Calamintha nepeta subsp. nepeta
• Home Sweet Hummelo ~ containing four
pints of Sesleria autumnalis paired with six pints of Stachys officinalis ‘Hummelo’
• Cry Me A Salvia River ~ contains three pints of Salvia ‘Blue
Hill’ paired with seven pints of Salvia ‘East Friesland’
•
More to Bee-hold ~ contains four pints of Monarda bradburiana paired with six pints of Sporobolus heterolepis
Just like those in the Lurie Garden, plants are selected for their sustainable qualities
and combinations are designed for beauty and ease of planting. Garden Artistry’s plants are drought tolerant once established,
support regional ecology, do not require fertilizer and are notsusceptible to pests. For more information, view
