A large, shrub-form of Canadian hemlock with spreading, layered branching and pendant branch tips. Deep green, finely textured foliage. Plants will not develop a central leader, rather branches will radiate from multiple trunks. After 10 years, a mature specimen will measure 10' tall with a 20' spread, an annual growth rate of 12 inches or more. An excellent accent for large rock gardens or border plantings
