About the Event
Robert Ellison was an award-winning daylily hybridizer and longtime friend of one of our employees, Michelle Rogers. Mr. Ellison taught Michelle the art of breeding beautiful and unique daylilies. Before Mr. Ellison left this Earth in August 2018, he asked Michelle to carry on his legacy of creating these amazing daylilies. We have collaborated with Michelle to create the Robert Ellison Memorial Garden at Hidden Timber Gardens.
On July 17th and 18th we will be hosting our 3rd Annual Bloomfest to celebrate the work of Mr. Ellison and showcase all of the gorgeous daylilies in bloom! Visitors can tour the memorial garden and purchase hand dug daylilies right from the garden, or purchase potted daylilies. Many of the lilies are only available at Hidden Timber Gardens since they were Bob’s individual creations. There are a wide variety of lilies available for the collector to the hobby gardener.
